New Apartment Complex by 29th Street Mall: Big change coming for apartment complex just northeast of 29th street mall in Boulder! Fisk and Della Cava, developers of this project, plan on turning the 4 acre parking lot into a 6 million, 238 unit residential apartments for market-rate rentals for “work force”. Cava is planning on financially backing up this master plan with the money he receives from the HUD loan by March 15th. Due to tight credit markets, many of the residential projects in Boulder have been dormant for many months, and Cava hopes that being approved by the HUD loan will insure the success of this project. The Workers are preparing to excavate in the next couple of weeks, and finish no later then fall 2011. |
