Step 4: You Found the perfect rental, Now What?
Deposit: Most properties will require a refundable security deposit to cover any damage to the property. Some may also require a non-refundable portion that is applied towards cleaning at the end of the lease. Apartments generally have the lowest deposits while privately owned condos and homes are typically equal to one month’s rent.
